Aluminium Alloy 2017 Flat Bar
TAluminum alloy 2017 flat bars are manufactured using Aluminum alloy grade 2017. Aluminum 2017 flat bars have good ductility and can be formed easily. They are popularly used because they can be easily heat-treated and provide moderate corrosion resistance. They can be welded easily, although their corrosion resistivity might be slightly affected. Hence, it is best to avoid welding with this grade. In case welding is necessary, it needs to be followed by heat treatment to recover its corrosion resistance property. Aluminum 2014 flat bars are welded using the inert gas welding and resistance welding technique. Aluminum alloy grade 2017 bars are composed of copper, silicon, manganese, magnesium, zinc, and titanium with ninety percent of its composition consisting of aluminum. Aluminum bars.

Apart from Aluminum, the main element in its chemical composition is copper. Aluminum 2024 flat bars are available in various tempers and their mechanical properties are directly proportional to their temper. The tensile strength of almost all temper of aluminum alloy 2024 is very high. Aluminum alloy 2024 has poor resistance but the problem can be solved if it is used with an addition of AI-1Zn or other corrosion-resistant materials. This technique is known as galvanization or cladding. Although, this may affect its tensile strength. Aluminum alloy 2024 is welded mostly with the friction welding treatment.

Aluminium Alloy 6061 Flat Bar
Aluminum alloy 6061 Bars belong to the 6000 series of Aluminum alloy. It is a precipitation-hardened aluminum alloy. It has an ultimate tensile strength going up to 290 MPa and a high yield strength which reaches 241 MPa. The alloying components of 6061 alloy are silicon and magnesium. It is widely used for extrusion and has good weldability and mechanical properties. Although welding this alloy can affect its strength negatively. Its capacity to sustain wear and tear, i.e., its fatigue strength is medium and formability (cold) depends on its temper. The T4 temper has good formability but the formability can be limited in the T6 temper. The most common temper of Aluminum alloy 6061 bar is T6 which is given solution heat treatment and aged artificially.

Aluminum alloy 6063 Flat bars are produced with 6063 aluminum alloy. The main elements of the alloy include silicon and magnesium. Magnesium helps to increase the strength of the alloy whereas Silicon increases the melting point allowing the alloy to be used in high temperatures. Aluminum alloy 6063 Flat bars perform very well mechanically. They have good weldability and can be heat treated very well. The T4 and T6 tempers of Aluminum alloy 6063 are annealed with a solution but the T4 is aged naturally whereas T6 ages artificially. They can be welded using an inert gas, arc method, or even the resistance method. They are usually welded with 5183 or 4043 aluminum alloy wires

Aluminium Alloy 6101 Flat Bar
Aluminum 6101 flat bars have excellent mechanical properties and good electrical conductivity. They also have good formability and workability. They can be cold as well as hot-formed. This feature is very limited in the other grades of aluminum alloy. They are easily extruded and their welding and machining can be done using the most basic processes. Aluminum 6101 Flat bars require oil-based lubricants for the machining processes. The tools which have carbides and have high speed are used for the machining process along with the lubricants. Annealing and aging methods are required to be done as an alternative to heating treatment since Aluminum alloy 6101 does not react to heat treatment.

Aluminium Alloy HE-20 Flat Bar
Aluminum Flat bars HE-20 are used in various applications. It is produced from HE-20 grade Aluminum alloy. The 6000 series of aluminum alloy includes aluminum alloy 6061 bars that are also known as Aluminum Flat bars HE-20. This aluminum alloy has been precipitation-hardened. It has a high yield strength of 241 MPa and ultimate tensile strength of 290 MPa. Silicon and magnesium are the alloying elements of 6061 alloy. It has good weldability and mechanical properties. It is frequently used for extrusion. Even though welding might significantly impact this alloy's strength. Its fatigue strength, or ability to withstand wear and tear, is medium, and its formability at low temperatures relies on its temper.

Aluminium Alloy HE-30 Flat Bar
The strongest aluminum alloy in the 6000 series is aluminum alloy 6082. This alloy is also known as Aluminum alloy HE-30. It is well-known for its structural design and favored for its exceptional capacity to resist corrosion. Because of their ability to be machined, these bars are also frequently referred to as structural bars. They are therefore mainly used for machining. Flat bars made of aluminum alloy HE-30 have a very smooth finish and superior mechanical and physical qualities. In hostile conditions, it can withstand high temperatures. The alloy has silicon and manganese additives to the aluminum that make it harder and more resistant to environmental factors.
