Phosphorus Bronze Round Bar

Phosphor Bronze Round Bar is a copper-based alloy composed of tin and phosphorus. Phosphor bronze Round Bar possesses a high yield strength and corrosion resistance and is typically used for, springs, bearings, bolts, and other components.Phosphor bronze as round bars and other shapes in both standard and custom dimensions. The alloy also has some specialty uses such as dental bridges and as a corrosion-resistant overpack for nuclear fuel disposal. The introduction of tin results in a significant increase in the strength and corrosion resistance of the alloy. The inclusion of phosphorous (up to 0.31%) increases the hardness and wear resistance of the alloy. It acts as a deoxidant that improves the castability of the material. This alloy is well known for its high corrosion resistance and good wear resistance characteristics. The phosphor bronze Round Bar also offers electrical conductivity and good thermal with excellent plating and spring properties
